Susan Hackett joined M. Duffany Builders as a Project Administrator in 2023, bringing over 14 years of experience in the construction industry. Throughout her career, she has worked with notable companies such as Broderick Building & Remodeling, Delphi Construction, and South Coast Improvement. Before transitioning to construction in 2009, she worked 20 years as a business manager for a strategic management consulting firm. Additionally, and notably Susan served in the United States Army Reserve, where she attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. In that role, she developed exceptional discipline, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to teamwork—qualities that align perfectly with the Duffany Way.

Susan excels in monitoring budgets and schedules, procurement, and document control, while effectively serving as a liaison between clients and project teams. Her exceptional communication skills and ability to maintain cost efficiency stem from many years of hands-on experience, making her an invaluable asset to the M. Duffany Builders Production Team. Susan’s approach ensures that clients always receive clear, timely updates and that project teams are fully supported in achieving their goals.

Beyond her professional career, Susan is deeply involved in community service and advocacy. Since 2011, she has served as a Statewide Chairperson for the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, demonstrating her dedication to important causes. Additionally, she spent six years as a Girl Scout Troop leader, mentoring youth in the local community.

Susan is married, has two adult children, 2 Dalmatians and 2 cats, and enjoys traveling, gardening, and decorating at her home in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
